Bob started his artistic journey in landscape design in 1964. His unique way of looking at a client’s project with not only practicality but an artistic view of life, allows him to explore with each client what they envision for their space. Bob meets every single client in person for an initial walk around the property to get a feeling of the space, and the clients. He takes into consideration what the client wants and needs their property to accomplish for them. Whether you have kids and pets, need a fully equipped entertainment space, or a private relaxing retreat for yourself; Bob can bring your vision to life with all the elements you may not have been able to articulate. Bob is one of very few who still hand draws every design plan, allowing him to personally add intricacies not often found on a computer screen. After the plans are drawn and the clients are in complete agreement and admiration of the process, Michael takes his father’s vision from an image on paper to plants in the ground.
Michael followed in his father’s footsteps and began working in landscape design in 1990. Michael has always worked with his father and that working relationship for so many years has allowed them to, in a sense, share a brain when it comes to design. Meaning, when changes happen in the field, or a client adds an element to the plans that wasn’t originally in the design, Michael can adapt and manage each of these with ease and as much artistic flare as his father would. Essentially, Michael has the ability to predict what his father would do to the design if any change were to occur. Michael can build anything to fit the concept and vision of the design. Michael handles all aspects of the business including, managing their experienced and close-knit team, proposals, billing etc. from conception to fruition.
